Connor Loves Animals..and his new Big Boy Bed

Before Connor got sick last week, we were a week and a half into him sleeping by himself in his new big boy bed. But when he got sick I couldn't stand to leave him in there all by himself, and since my bed is more comfortable, he spent a few nights with me. So tonight we're starting all over again with him sleeping by himself (if you don't count the endless number of stuffed animals he has with him).

Here he is in his new bed with a few of his animal friends. When we first put the stars on the wall, he told me, "Now we have to sing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star...'" and he layed on his back doing something with his hands in the air while singing it. I guess he was making a star twinkle in the sky??














Connor helped me put this shelf together today, and he was actually a pretty big help since he loves the electric screwdriver. After each shelf was added, he would scream "Yeah!!" and before he used the screwdriver for the first time he said, "We have a job to do!" We can thank Handy Manny for that quote. Once we got it set up, I wasn't exactly sure what we were going to use it for, I just knew it would be nice to have a little extra storage space in his room. Here he how he decided to use it:
