Update

Connor had his 2 week checkup with the doctor this past Monday and everything looks great! He had lost a bit of weight in the beginning so our goal was to be back at his birth weight by Monday's appointment and he exceeded it by 4 ounces - go Connor!! Our boy does like to eat! He is now 9 lbs, 4 oz and 22 1/2 inches long. He's in the 50th percentile for weight and 95th percentile for height. Look out, Uncle Mike - you might have some competition soon in the height department!!

He has started staying awake a little more during the day and seems to be intrigued by faces and by our couch of all things. It's one solid color and doesn't move so I'm not sure why he likes it so much, but maybe he sees something we don't.

Connor met his big cousin, Shaw, last weekend. Shaw is 4 months old today, March 8th. When he first saw Connor, he got the biggest smile on his face. Uncle Brian is already calling them "Shake and Bake," which will make much more sense if you've seen the movie Talledega Nights.

He also got to spend some time with his Aunt Heather.

This is Connor's first time in his swing. He's not so much a fan of it in this picture, but I have since learned that the key to the swing is putting him in it BEFORE he gets to this point! Then he loves it!
