We had a pretty busy December - I think we went to Florence 3 weekends in a row, came back home for a few days after Christmas, then headed to Minnesota for a week. Lots of traveling, but I wouldn't change any of it - we had a great time with all of our family and really felt like we got to spend some good quality time with just about everyone.
First it was Christmas with my Dad's side. Connor and Shaw were looking pretty handsome in their sweater vests, but the second they got Spiderman PJ's from their great-grandparents, they insisted on changing into them right away!

And here's Connor joining in on my Aunt Kim and Uncle Tommy's family picture:
Then we went to the festival of lights at James Island County Park with Heather, Brian and the kids. Connor and Shaw got to roast marshmallows, ride a train that they had to operate themselves by pedaling with their hands, and ride the carosel. A good time was had by all!
Back to Florence again for Christmas with my Mom's side of the family:
Reid playing Hungry Hungry Hippos (don't worry, he's playing without the marbles):
Connor and PaPa reading Shaw's Spiderman book:
And here's a short video of Connor showing off his tennis skills:
And finally, it was off to MN for a Dougherty Christmas and New Year celebration.
There definitely was no shortage of snow or cold weather this year:
Negative 20?? No Problem for this SC girl!
This is our imitation of great-great-grandparents who apparently were not allowed to smile in

I love Connor asking for a "high five" in the video. How did we miss asking him to do this in MN? Considering how often "Connor Dougherty at home" gets pulled out, maybe its just as well.
Miss you both already!
