October Fun!

A couple of weekends ago we spent Saturday at Legare Farms pumpkin patch on Johns Island to get in the Halloween spirit (if that is even possible in 90+ degree weather).

Here's Connor and Shaw checking out the scarecrow/pumpkinhead guy.

They had the coolest old-school playground complete with the metal slide that burns the backs of your legs as you make your way down.

But who needs toys and slides when you can just play on an old oak tree? We also met up with Connor's friend, Jake, and his parents.

We took a hay ride that included a stop to feed the cows. If you let them, they would take the treat right out of your hands. Connor liked watching but would not get close enough to feed them - only reach out and pet them while they weren't looking.

Look at how sweaty those kids are. And I believe this was on the same day that it snowed in Minnesota.

Don't you think Halloween is best served in a colder climate? We'd be happy to help you and Connor (and the Davidson's, for that matter) get set up in an appropriate home for next year.

I mean, what's next? Swimming and bathing suits for Christmas?!

You are correct...it was about 95 degrees outside that day - not exactly pumpkin patch weather.

But notice the next post (just one week later) Connor was in jeans and a sweatshirt. This week we're back in the 80's again. You better just pack everything in your closet for next week!
