Tom's Dad

For those of you that don't know, Tom's dad passed away on Sunday, January 6th. It was just as shocking to us as when Tom passed away - he was so happy and healthy at Christmas just the week before. I think it goes without saying that he will be sorely missed by all of us in the family as well as by many others.

It is not easy to think of the positive side of things during such a tragedy, especially within just one year of losing Tom, but I am glad that we all had a wonderful week together in MN at Christmas. The kids had a great time with Tom, and he with them - he was such a great grandfather. We will continue to remember him, share stories, and trust that he is in a wonderful place, having been reunited with other loved ones lost during his life.
