Pre-K Graduation Part 2

What a wonderful day - there were a total of 22 graduates and they all did great! They said the Pledge of Allegiance then sang a few songs - "America the Beautiful," "I'm a Little Seed," "The More We Get Together," and "Six Little Ducks." They called the graduates each by name, asked the parents to stand while they brought us flowers, then called them again one by one to receive their diplomas. After the graduation, we took Connor and his best friend, Holman, to Magnolia Plantation for the day. There was a petting zoo, a boat ride through the marsh (where we saw tons of alligators!), and a tram ride through the swamp (saw even more alligators but also turtles and birds). Their favorite part was the petting zoo, and especially "Gracie the Deer" who chased them around like a dog trying to play. They even enjoyed running through the gardens over all the little bridges, and especially over the one red bridge they were sure was the Golden Gate Bridge.

Running away from Gracie the deer - Holman thought it was hilarious!! Connor just reminded me that they were calling the deer "the wise guy." He just looked at the picture and said "There's the wise guy behind G-Ma."
