We Love Charts!

We figured out in 2011 that one thing Connor loves and helps him behave at school better than anything else is charts. His class has this Red, Yellow, Green thing where the teacher can move them from green to yellow to red when they misbehave and they can earn their way back to green. Connor started having some trouble staying on green for a while so we came up with a chart to track his greens and where he would be rewarded for every so many greens he earned. It really does work wonders for him and the treats really aren't anything that difficult for us to follow through with. At the end of his chart, it's usually a bigger reward. Here's Connor with his first Green Chart.

The green chart was working so well that we decided to get a Responsibility Chart as well. This one has no rewards/treats tied to it - the "reward" is getting to put the magnets on the chart and it may have worked just as well, if not better, than the one with rewards.
