We had a wonderful weekend for celebrating Connor's 1st birthday! The weather was beautiful, we had lots of out of town guests, and a great party on Saturday where Connor decided to entertain everyone by walking for the first time! He took 4 or 5 steps all on his own while we were opening presents. I didn't take very many pictures this weekend, and none at the actual party, so sadly I have none to post on the blog yet.

This weekend marks the beginning of tourist season in Charleston with the Southeastern Wildlife Expo (see www.sewe.org), so we went downtown on Sunday and would you believe that they had a camel you could ride? What more could a boy ask for on his first birthday? Aunt Elizabeth was so gracious to offer to take Connor for his first camel ride. Jason also offered, but his mom wouldn't let him ;).
